The Start of Rock This Way Crystal Shop
I have always loved crystals and Reiki and I have found a way to combine them.
I have always called my crystal collection, my rock collection. That's why it's in the name of my shop. I have also always wanted to share Reiki in a tangible way that would support the women in my life. So, I now create Reiki infused jewelry.
When I walk into a crystal shop I get so excited. I would say my crystals choose me. I pick them up and try to put them down and if I can't, then I can say that the crystal chose me and then it comes home.
It is similar in the way that I make my jewelry. The crystals that are in the bracelets have chosen to go together. It just feels right.
I created my shop so that other women can have jewelry that just feels right. The jewelry that energetically aligns with their highest good and supports them where they need it most. Jewelry that speaks to them or just makes them feel wonderful.
What is Reiki?
In Japanese, Rei means spirit, and Ki means life force energy. Together they can be read as "spirit led life force energy." Essentially, Reiki is a spiritual science (not a therapeutic science) that is passed down by means of an attunement. It is a universal energy that is all expansive, all encompassing, and belongs to everyone in all ways.
There are three levels of attunement. Reiki I, Reiki II, and Reiki Master. You are taught how to use Reiki on yourself and others in Reiki I. In Reiki II, you learn how to do distance healing, chakra balancing, and emotional balancing. As a Reiki Master Teacher, you learn how to attune and teach others about Reiki.
My Reiki Journey
I have always had an interest in energy and energy work. In 2007, I was looking expand my knowledge of energy and how to use it, and I stumbled upon Reiki. I saw a class on Usui Reiki I locally and I signed up. I then continued on to take the Reiki II class that was offered and then became a Reiki Master in 2009.
As a Reiki practitioner, I was taught that a practitioner assists in the process but does not guide it. When I practice Reiki, I always set the intention that the Reiki energy goes where it is needed most and if it is not needed, that it be released back to the universe for whomever else needs it.
Reiki Infused Jewelry
I infuse each piece of jewelry with Reiki before I send it out. I set the intention that the Reiki energy infuse the jewelry to align with the jewelry's recipient's highest good. That the jewelry will be able to support the recipient in whatever way is needed.
